• <br /> Substitute <br /> Bill No. 17-90 <br /> Ordinance No. S/D5-q0 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH <br /> BEND, INDIANA, AMENDING CHAPTER 21, ARTICLE 6, DIVISION 2, <br /> SECTION 21-112 COMMONLY KNOWN AS <br /> "EXCEPTIONS IN ALL DISTRICTS." <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT <br /> The attached Bill would amend the zoning section <br /> addressing exceptions to all zoning districts within the <br /> City. The amendment would allow for-profit entities to <br /> utilize the 4-H Fairgrounds provided that they meet the same <br /> approval requirements from the Common Council and the Board <br /> of Zoning Appeals which are required for not-for-profit <br /> organizations. <br /> It is believed that this Bill is in the best interests <br /> of the City of South Bend. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of <br /> the City of South Bend, Indiana as follows: <br /> SECTION I: Chapter 21, Article 6, Division 2, Section <br /> 21-112 (a) (6) (A) of the Municipal Code of the City of South <br /> Bend, Indiana, is hereby amended to read in its entirety as <br /> follows: <br /> (6) Fairs, displays, shows, carnivals, circuses, and <br /> exhibits.
