SUBSTITUTE BILL NO. <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 4l>q q-qO <br /> AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING MONIES FROM VARIOUS <br /> ACCOUNTS TO VARIOUS ACCOUNTS WITHIN THE <br /> CONTROLLER'S DEPARTMENT AND POLICE DEPARTMENT <br /> IN THE GENERAL FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br /> FOR THE YEAR 1990 <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br /> Unforseen conditions have developed since the adoption of <br /> existing budgets which necessitate the transfer of funds to certain <br /> accounts of the Controller' s Department and Police Department from <br /> adequate surpluses which are available and not presently needed <br /> within other accounts within the same department. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the <br /> City of South Bend, Indiana as follows: <br /> SECTION I : That the following accounts be adjusted as <br /> described below: <br /> GENERAL FUND <br /> Controller <br /> Increase the following accounts: <br /> 4360.00 Building &Structural Repair $ 55,150.00 <br /> 4427.00 Motor Equipment $150,000.00 <br /> 4429. 00 Other Equipment 94,850.00 <br /> TOTAL $300,000.00 <br /> Decrease the following account: <br /> 4147 . 00 Insurance $300,000.00 <br /> TOTAL $300,000.00 <br /> Police <br /> Increase the following account: <br /> 4429.00 Other Equipment $ 37 ,711.00 <br /> TOTAL $ 37,711.00 <br /> Decrease the following account: <br /> 4431.00 Radio Equipment $ 37,711.00 <br /> TOTAL $ 37,711.00 <br /> SECTION II : This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect <br /> from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br /> 0 <br />
