BILL NO. p �J <br /> ORDINANCE NO. �j(�D l- /Q <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING URBAN DEVELOPMENT ACTION GRANT <br /> FUNDS TO DEFRAY EXPENSES IN THE DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION <br /> AND FINANCE AND THE DEPARTMENT OF ENGINEERING. <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br /> Additional engineering services are needed because of <br /> increased public construction resulting from tax incremental finance <br /> projects. Urban Developemnt Action Grant money is available to fund <br /> a position to provide such services. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the <br /> City of South Bend, Indiana as follows: <br /> SECTION I. The amount of Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000) is <br /> hereby set apart from Urban Development Action Grant funds to be <br /> administed as follows: <br /> CONTROLLER <br /> 4145.00 PERF $ 1,336.00 <br /> 4148.00 FICA $ 1,952.00 <br /> $ 3,288.00 <br /> DEPARTMENT OF ENGINEERING <br /> 4110.00 Salaries $ 26,712.00 <br /> $ 26,712.00 <br /> SECTION II.
