After reviewing those bids, Mr. John Wiltrout, Water Works, recommended that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, Slatile Roofing & Sheet Metal Co., Inc., in the amount of $28,418.00 which is the total of the Base bid plus Alternate 1, and Alternate 2, Item 3A. Therefore, Mr. Gilot made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bid be awarded and the contract approved as outlined above. Ms. Roos seconded the motion, which carried. AWARD BIDS — WATER/WASTEWATER TREATMENT CHEMICALS 2012/2014 CATER WORKS/WASTEWATER OPERATINGI Mr. George King, Purchasing, advised the Board that on September 25, 2012, bids were received and opened for the above referenced chemicals.
