Exhibit A- Engineer's Services • Notify the City if project elements appear to be in potential conflict with existing utilities along the proposed storm sewer corridor to perform the Work. • At the consent of the City, meet with representatives of British Petroleum (BP) if the proposed storm sewer appears to encroach on existing petroleum pipeline facilities along Auten Road. • Respond to comments or suggestions from the City on the extent of proposed Work. Preliminary Design Phase MCCORMICK will perform the following tasks in order to complete the noted work for both Prime Contracts: Prepare outline specifications, opinion of probable Construction Cost and other documents outlined in Section A1.02 of the Contract. Final Design Phase MCCORMICK will perform the following tasks in order to complete the noted work for both Prime Contracts: Prepare final Drawings and Specifications and other documents outlined in Section A1.03 of the Contract. Bidding and Negotiating Phase MCCORMICK will perform the following tasks in order to complete the noted work for both Prime Contracts: Assist Owner in the solicitation and negotiation of Bids outlined in Section A1.04 of the Contract. Construction Phase MCCORMICK will perform the following tasks in order to complete the noted work for both Prime Contracts: Unless otherwise agreed by the Owner and Engineer, the Engineer services during the Construction phase shall be limited to the work noted in Section A1.05.A of the Contract. Post Construction Phase MCCORMICK will perform the following tasks in order to complete the noted work for both Prime Contracts: Unless otherwise agreed by the Owner and Engineer, the Engineer services during the Construction phase shall be limited to the work noted in Section A1.06 of the Contract. Exclusions This Contract does not include fees or provisions for Right -of -Way acquisition services. Further, the Contract does not include fees or extensive submittal preparation services to the British Petroleum Company. Such services would require an amendment to the Contract if needed.
