All rights reserved. <br />This is EXHIBIT K, consisting of 3 pages, referred to in <br />and part of the Agreement between Owner and Engineer <br />for Professional Services dated April 14, 2020,. <br />AMENDMENT TO OWNER-ENGINEER AGREEMENT <br />Amendment No. 1 <br />1.Background Data: <br />a. Effective Date of Owner-Engineer Agreement: April 14, 2020 <br />b. Owner: Board of Public Works, City of South Bend <br />c.Engineer: Abonmarche Consultants, Inc. <br />d.Project: Howard Street Conceptual Design <br />2.Description of Modifications: <br />a. The Scope of Services currently authorized to be performed by Engineer in accordance <br />with the Agreement and previous amendments, if any, is modified as follows: <br />Task Order # 1: Traffic Analysis <br />i. Traffic Analysis shall include a capacity analysis of the intersection of Howard <br />Street and Eddy Street and of Howard Street and SR 23 as requested during the <br />development of the conceptual alternatives. <br />ii. Review updated traffic count data provided by the City. Update the traffic analysis <br />of these two intersection. The updated report will include an analysis of the current <br />condition, the projected condition in 2022 following planned development, and <br />2040 condition including planned development and projected growth rate. <br />Task Order # 2: Phase 1 Design <br />i. Survey, design, special provisions and bid documents, easement or property <br />acquisition, permitting, and bid period services of the following intersection: <br />a. Howard Street and Eddy Street <br />b. Howard Street and SR 23 <br />c. Corby Boulevard and South Bend Avenue <br />d. Notre Dame Avenue and South Bend Avenue (Topographical survey to be <br />provided by the City) <br />ii. Construction Administration services including review of shop drawings, attend <br />progress meetings as requested, respond to questions as requested. Construction <br />Administration will be performed at an hourly rate, not to exceed, as requested by <br />the City. <br />Task Order # 3: Project Coordination
