(3/13/2008) Larry Magliozzi - rezoning of property at corner of Lynnwood and Cleveland Page 71
From: "heede @netzero.net' <heede @netzero.net>
To: <Imaglioz @co.st joseph.in.us>
Date: 3/12/2008 9:56 PM
Subject: rezoning of property at corner of Lynnwood and Cleveland
Dear Mr. Magliozzi
As a resident of Shellbark Avenue, I request that you do not change the zoning of property at the corner
of Lynnwood and Cleveland. We do not need another eating place as we have seven in a half mile
radius. In the warmer weather. when we have the windows open, we get the smells from some of the
eating places, which isn't always pleasant. We also get the cups, napkins, and half eaten food tossed on
our lawns and we have to clean this up, which isn't a nice task.
If the property is sold, will the owner take off the top soil and then let the property grow up in weeds?
We have that on the east side of Shellbark and it only encourages people to throw there garbage on the
property. This "mess" has lower our property values. We try to maintain nice homes and surroundings
and a sight like that does not help.
Cleveland is a very busy street and entering it safely is hard now. With more traffic it will be even
worse. Please consider the residents around this area when you think of changing the zoning. Thank
you for your time.
Eleanor A.
