Individuals who take the initiative <br />to contact the EAP for assistance do so with the assurance that <br />their calls will be treated respectfully and confidentiallylhe direct <br />services provided by the EAP are sponsored by BCRC. <br />In compliance with Public Law 100-690 (The Drug -Free <br />Workplace Act), which applies only to Employers who have <br />federal grants or federal contracts of more than $100,000, an <br />Employee who is convicted of a workplace drug or alcohol <br />violation and who is employed by a BCRC affiliated Employer <br />must report this information to his/her immediate supervisor no <br />later than five (5) days after such conviction. The Supervisor must <br />report this information immediately to the Employer's Program <br />Administrator. <br />DEFINITIONS <br />• Addendum s (i.e., Attachment F) maybe approved by <br />the Board of Directors on an as -needed basis. <br />• Adulterated Specimen a specimen that has been altered, <br />as evidenced by test results showing either a substance <br />that is not a normal constituent for that type of <br />specimen or showing an abnormal concentration of an <br />endogenous substance. <br />• Air Blank means, in evidential breath testing devices <br />(EBTs) using gas chromatography technology, a reading <br />of the device's internal standard. In all other EBTs, a <br />reading of ambient air containing no alcohol. <br />• Alcohol means the intoxicating agent in beverage <br />alcohol, ethyl alcohol, or other low molecular weight <br />alcohols including methyl and isopropyl alcohoL <br />
