A carbon monoxide monitor with an alarm shall be provided and installed in the <br />action area, within the patient compartment. <br />YEN_ <br />24.4 ELECTRIC OXYGEN SHUT OFF <br />An electric shut off switch for the oxygen system shall be provided and installed in <br />the rear action area switch panel. The system shall include a manual bypass. <br />YA_N_ <br />24.5 PORTABLE/ ONBOARD SUCTION AND ASPIRATION SYSTEM <br />A portable/onboard, complete self-contained S-SCORT VX-2 dual mode unit with <br />battery charger shall be installed on the primary action area wall. It shall include a <br />charging retention bracket hard -wired to 12 VDC power. A 1,200-cc suction canister, <br />6' suction tubing, and suction tip shall be supplied with unit. <br />YXN_ <br />24.6 SHARPS/BIO-HAZARD <br />A sharps container with a crash stable mounting bracket shall be supplied and <br />shipped loose. A biohazard container with lid and twelve [12] red biohazard bags <br />shall be shipped loose for installation by the department. <br />YX N <br />24.7 PATIENT CODE SIGNAL SYSTEM <br />In the action area switch console, there shall be three [3] colored switches (red, <br />yellow and green) that activate corresponding indicator lights in the driver's switch <br />console. In addition, there shall be a switch in the action area switch console that <br />activates a buzzer in the driver's compartment. These lights and buzzer shall be <br />used to notify the driver of any change in the patient's status. <br />Y4,-N <br />24.8 RADIO WIRING <br />Radio wiring as follows: <br />1. 10-gauge A+ to console with ignition. <br />2. 8-gauge A+ and A- to console in cab, hot. <br />3. 8-gauge A+ and A- to radio compartment in box, hot. <br />4. Three (3) antenna accesses will be provided inside box: front -center, middle - <br />center, and rear -center. <br />5. Two (2) RG-58 cables installed at rear -center and middle -center access <br />points with NMO-style antenna mounts. Both will be run to radio <br />compartment. Antenna cables will have 18" excess at both ends. <br />6. Wiring for the intercom system for cab and patient compartment to be <br />determined at the pre -build meeting. Department will supply components of <br />intercom system. 10 conductor strobe cables shall be run from center console <br />to action area and from action area to radio housing at end of squad bench. <br />Y N <br />24.9 FIRE EXTINGUISHERS <br />
