City of South Bend Central Services Division <br />Fire Service, Inc./Wheeled Coach Ambulance <br />Specification <br />Eight Whelen 9SCOENZR Clear LED lights shall be installed. Flood and loading <br />lights shall not be less than seventy-five inches above the ground and shall not be <br />obstructed by open doors. Two floodlights shall be located on each sides of the <br />vehicle and be firmly fastened to the body surfaces below the roof line. The side <br />flood lights shall be controlled from the cab console and be independently <br />switched. <br />FLASHER <br />A Whelen AF-6016A flasher shall be installed and provide a flash pattern to meet <br />KKK-1822 C or D or E specification. <br />FLANGES FOR TAIL LIGHTS <br />Whelen chrome flanges shall be provided for the stop/tail, turn and backup lights <br />on the rear of the vehicle. <br />TAILLIGHT PACKAGE <br />There shall be a Whelen taillight package installed on the rear of the vehicle. The <br />stop/tail lights shall be 600 series LED with signal alert. The turn signals shall be <br />a 600 series LED with sequential arrow shaped design. The backup lights shall be <br />600 series halogen. <br />MODULE HEADLINER <br />The module headliner shall be manufactured out of expanded PVC material. The <br />liner shall be white and installed to allow flush mounting of the interior lighting. <br />The headliner shall include the two plenums that run from the HVAC system to <br />the eight 3.5" ducts in the ceiling (4 per plenum). This system shall maximize the <br />air flow coming from the ducted HVAC system designed to flow between 200- <br />250 cubic feet of air flow per minute. <br />10070-0003 11 /05/20 <br />42 <br />
