City of South Bend Central Services Division <br />Fire Service, Inc./Wheeled Coach Ambulance <br />Specification <br />The module entry doors shall include power door locks that enable remote <br />activation. <br />The six (6) compartment doors shall include power door locks that enable remote <br />activation. <br />A momentary rocker switch shall be located as determined by this Agency and <br />enable the power door locks for the compartment and entry doors. <br />A stealth switch shall be located in the grille area unless otherwise specified by <br />this Agency and enable the power door locks for the compartment, entry, and cab <br />doors. The switch must be weather resistant. <br />A circuit shall be installed to enable the power door locks for the compartment <br />and entry doors to be operated off the OEM cab door lock switches. <br />REAR DOOR HOLD OPENS <br />The rear doors shall be held open by (2) 4.5 inch Cast Grabber. The U shaped <br />piece shall be attached to the door. It shall enter into a rubber insert when the door <br />is in the open position. A corrosion inhibitor shall be applied to the mount-ing <br />holes prior to installation. <br />COMPARTMENT DOOR HOLD OPEN <br />Six (6) Compartments shall have a 30 pound gas strut in lieu of a spring loaded <br />hold open. <br />COMPARTMENT DOOR HOLD OPEN <br />The right front compartment shall have a 30 pound gas strut in lieu of a spring <br />10070-0003 11 /05/20 <br />23 <br />
