All lights shall be mounted to the vehicle ceiling structural <br />members and not to the ceiling panel material alone. <br /> <br />RETANGULAR LIGHT; "CHECK OUT" TIMER: <br /> <br />A 60 minute mechanical timer shall be provided at the side door of the vehicle to allow the Rectangular lights to be turned <br />to the on position when the vehicle exterior power source is connected and shall be powered by the vehicles 12 volt <br />battery charger. The lights shall be controlled by an additional transfer relay to prevent the lights from discharging the <br />vehicle batteries when the shoreline is not plugged in. The timer shall only function when the shoreline is plugged in, and <br />will not function when the battery switch is activated. <br /> <br />DUAL DOME LIGHT SWITCHES: <br /> <br />Per the requirements of KKK-A-1822, two independent dome light circuits with two independent switches shall be <br />provided to control two banks of (3) dome lights each. The switches shall be marked in the Life Support panel as left <br />dome light and right dome light. Each switch shall power the low mode of the fixture s independently. <br /> <br /> <br />12 VOLT UTILITY AND MEDICAL OUTLETS <br /> <br />12 VOLT MEDICAL OUTLET: <br /> <br />One (1) 12 volt Power Point outlet shall be provided. The outlet shall be circuit breaker protected and provide a source <br />directly from the vehicle batteries, and bypass the vehicles master battery disconnect switch. The outlet shall be <br />located at the Life Support Station. <br /> <br />12 VOLT MEDICAL OUTLET: <br /> <br />One (1) 12 volt Power Point outlet shall be provided. The outlet shall be circuit breaker protected and provid e a source <br />directly from the vehicle batteries, and bypass the vehicles master battery disconnect switch. The outlet shall be <br />located in the right front in/out access compartment. <br /> <br />MEDICAL EQUIPMENT ISOLATOR: <br /> <br />Per the requirements of KKK-A-1822, a low voltage drop, Shottky, Medical Isolator shall be installed to protect the medical <br />equipment from loads imposed by the vehicle. Only heat sink mounted isolators shall be used. The use of medical <br />isolators built into P.C. board type electrical systems, is an unacceptable substitution. (No Exceptions) P.C. Board or <br />permanent type may require replacement of entire board to repair a problem with this medical equipment circuit. <br /> <br /> <br />ANTENNA AND COMMUNICATION RADIO EQUIPMENT <br /> <br />ANTENNA: <br /> <br />A Coaxial Antenna lead shall be prewired from a location in the wire raceway to the location of the two-way <br />communication radios. <br /> <br />The antenna lead in the roof shall include a connector soldered to end of cable for install of two-way communication radio <br />antenna. <br />
