2021 International MV/PL Custom Titan 170 <br />Type I Ambulance Proposal Specification <br /> <br /> <br />A5347-0002 11/05/20 <br />14 <br /> <br /> DIAMOND PLATE FUEL TANK COVER AND STEP: <br /> <br />The driver side fuel tank and DEF tank shall be covered with a custom fitted, polish aluminum diamond plate cover. The <br />cover shall be bolted on, and be easily removable for access to fuel delivery and sending unit c omponents. The tank shall <br />include an upper and lower aluminum grip strut helper step built into the diamond plate cover. All seams and corners shall <br />be 100% Heliarc welded for strength and a finished appearance. <br /> <br /> DIAMOND PLATE FULL WIDTH STEP: <br /> <br />The curb side Cab step shall be a custom fitted, polish aluminum diamond plate cover, with built in grip strut steps. The <br />cover shall be bolted on, and be easily removable. All seams and corners shall be 100% Heliarc welded for strength and <br />a finished appearance. <br /> <br /> REAR DIAMOND PLATE PANEL & CORNER GUARDS: <br /> <br />A polished aluminum diamond plate kick panel shall be installed above the rear step bumper and below the rear doors. <br />The panel shall overlap. The step riser panel shall be removable. <br /> <br />Polished aluminum diamond plate panels shall be installed on the rear body corners. Panels shall extend to the rear step <br />riser, and protect the lower area of the body around the rear recessed bumper step. The panel height shall be <br />approximately 4" in height (dependent on vehicle type) <br /> <br />EXTERIOR TRIM <br /> <br />REAR WHEEL FENDERETTES, RUBBER: <br /> <br />Heavy Duty Rubber, fenderettes shall be installed around the rear wheel opening, sized to allow for proper tire clearance. <br />The fenderettes shall be bolted on for easy removal. All hardware shall be concealed. Exposed mounting hardware is <br />unacceptable. <br /> <br />LICENSE PLATE HOLDER: <br /> <br />A recessed Cast Products polished aluminum license plate holder shall be installed in the left rear body panel of the <br />ambulance. The housing shall be installed with an EPDM 40 to 60 durometer rubber gasket. It shall include (1) LED <br />license plate light activated with the running / headlights of the vehicle. <br /> <br />RECESSED TOW EYES: <br /> <br />Two (2) Stainless Steel tow eyes shall be recessed in the rear aluminum diamond plate step riser of the vehicle. The tow <br />eyes shall be bolted directed to a reinforced member of the vehicle chassis frame. The tow eyes shall be 3/4" diameter. <br />The recessed housings shall be bolt on Cast Products polished aluminum type with a sand pebble finished interior <br />surface. Tow eyes shall be mounted to the chassis frame rail only, with clearance for the tow eye to protrude though the <br />rear step riser. Under no circumstances shall the tow eye be bolted to b oth the body and the chassis with the ability for <br />body flexing. <br /> <br />The Tow Eyes are rated to 6000 pounds for the pair. <br /> <br /> <br />
