<br />A Vanner, model #20-1050CUL inverter shall be provided and installed. The Vanner <br />20-1050CUL/CULW AC Power System shall combine a powerful DC to AC power <br />inverter with an automatic battery charger/conditioner and a 30-amp AC transfer <br />switch. When connected to shore power (AC utility power) the vehicle's battery is <br />charged, than automatically maintained in full charge condition. The shore power <br />shall be automatically connected to the system's AC output receptacle to supply <br />power to the AC loads. When shore power is disconnected, (vehicle underway) the <br />automatic transfer switch shall connect the AC output receptacle to the power <br />inverter, which obtains power from the 12 volt battery. <br />The 20-1050CUL/CULW system shall contain a front panel LED indicator status <br />panel and interface connector for the remote monitor/control unit. The inverter shall <br />be mounted in the lower forward corner of the D2 compartment. <br /> Y___N___ <br />3.14 EXTERIOR SHORE POWER <br /> <br />There shall be a Kussmaul 115 volt "Auto-Eject" plug rated at 20 amps or more with <br />a spring-loaded cover assembly, UL listed for exterior use, located on the left side of <br />the ambulance body close to the driver's door. The plug shall be equipped with a <br />Dynamic Disconnect Switch. This shall energize the vehicle's 115-volt AC circuit <br />from an exterior power source. This connector must be labeled: "115-volt AC, 60 Hz, <br />20-amp power supply". Y___N___ <br />3.15 INTERIOR 115 VOLT AC OUTLETS <br /> <br />There shall be three (3) three-wire duplex 115-volt AC hospital grade receptacles. <br />There shall be one [1] in the primary action area, one [1] in the second action area <br />and one [1] in the ALS cabinet. There shall be red indicator lights located within <br />each 115-volt outlet to indicate a live "hot" circuit. Add-on style indicators are not <br />acceptable. The receptacles shall be clearly labeled: "115 VAC". <br /> Y___N___ <br />3.15.1 Two (2) additional three-wire duplex 115-volt AC hospital grade receptacles <br />shall also be provided and installed. The one (1) shall be located over the squad <br />bench and one (1) in the lower ALS cabinet. There shall be red indicator lights <br />located within the 115-volt outlet to indicate a live "hot" circuit. It shall be clearly <br />labeled: "115 VAC". <br /> Y___N___ <br />3.16 ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT <br /> <br />All electrical equipment shall be electromagnetic radiation suppressed, filtered, or <br />shielded to prevent interference with radio and telemetry equipment. The RFI shall <br />not exceed SAE J551 limits. <br /> Y___N___ <br />3.17 SPOT LIGHT <br /> <br />There shall be one (1) Optronics "Blue Eye 4000" hand-held spotlight (400,000- <br />candle power) hardwired and located behind the driver seat. The spotlight must be <br />weatherproof, corrosion and chip resistant, have a non-glare "Blue Eye" bulb, and <br />have a momentary "on" switch. A hanger shall be supplied for the spotlight. <br /> Y___N___ <br />4.0 SIREN <br /> <br />A Federal, model #PA300MSC siren with microphone shall be provided. It shall <br />include wail, yelp, air horn, Hi-Lo tone, user selectable switching for horn ring tap and <br />press/hold, manual horn/siren and radio rebroadcast. Fused circuit failure protection,
