American Response Vehicles <br />chevrons on entry door lower panels. <br />REFLECTIVE / PRISMATIC TAPE: The aforementioned center step will have a bright, conspicuous prismatic, <br />reflective tape strip applied the rearward facing edge of the step. The tape will have alternating colors (Red <br />and White). The tape color will begin and end in Red, and each segment will measure between seven and <br />nine inches. <br />ROOF PAINT: Roof paint is to be white and will not to be visible from the ground. <br />DRIP RAILS: A bright drip rail will be provided over each compartment. Full height compartments are <br />exempt because the perimeter roof rail drip rails will cover these compartments. <br />FLOW METER: One flow meter will be supplied. This flow meter will be used for oxygen and is to be Chemtron, <br />Thorpe Tube 0-15 LPM Style. This flow meter will be shipped loose with the vehicle. <br />OWNER'S MANUAL: There will be shipped loose with each completed unit a card with USB flash data file with <br />pertinent information from the build of the vehicle. <br />ROOF STAR OF LIFE: There will be installed on the module roof a reflective star of life symbol large sized. <br />SAFETY PLACARDS: There will be installed in the chassis cab and patient area descriptive placards in durable <br />materials to remind occupants to fasten seatbelts and to refrain from smoking. <br />MANUFACTURER LOGOS: There will be self-adhesive logos provided and installed for the unit. <br />FIRE EXTINGUISHER: One (5) five -pound A-B-C type fire extinguisher will be supplied loose with the vehicle on <br />delivery. Exception to C.16.1 1 Required Two fire extinguishers installed by FSAM <br />FIRE EXTINGUISHER: One additional (5) five pound A-B-C type fire extinguisher will be supplied loose with the <br />vehicle on delivery. <br />REFLECTOR PACKAGE: Six reflectors will be supplied on the outside of the module body. The reflectors will be <br />located at skirt line level and the area size will be at least 3.75 square inches. Each side will have one AMBER <br />forward reflector and one RED rearward reflector. The rear of the body will have one RED reflector per side, <br />located just above the diamond plate kick plate. <br />INSPECTION TRIPS <br />MID -POINT INSPECTION: American Response Vehicles will provide a mid -point inspection trip to the factory <br />for Two (2) Members of the South Bend Fire Department. This Inspection trip should not require more than <br />three (3) total days for travel to and from factory and inspection. American Response Vehicles will cover all <br />cost incurred, including, but not limited to air and ground transportation, hotel accommodations, and meals. <br />67 <br />
