American Response Vehicles <br />59 <br /> <br />OXYGEN OUTLETS: The outlet latches will be designed to accept Chemtron style, dual press down to <br />release adapters. This Oxygen outlets will be provided where specified below. <br /> <br />OXYGEN OUTLET No 1: The Oxygen outlet will be located in the primary action area switch and outlet console. <br /> <br />OXYGEN OUTLET No 2: The Oxygen outlet will be located in the primary action area switch and outlet console. <br /> <br />OXYGEN OUTLET No 3: The Oxygen outlet will be located in curb side upper cabinet, over the squad bench <br />and near the curbside entry door. <br /> <br />PORTABLE CYLINDER BRACKETS: (3) Three Zico QR-D-2 or Jumbo D approved, certified equal with the <br />following minimum features and quality level will be installed in the location specified below. These universal, <br />adjustable portable cylinder racks will be supplied and installed to accommodate one cylinder each. The <br />bottle racks will accommodate either D-size or Jumbo D-size cylinders made of steel OR aluminum. The entire <br />rack will be constructed of heavy gauge stainless steel and aluminum alloy. The rack design will include a <br />stainless steel cylinder neck restraint that does not interfere with oxygen regulator controls. A quick release <br />at the top alleviates the need for a strap to secure the bottle in place. The rack will be through bolted to <br />reinforced, structural members or brackets that tie in directly to the body of the ambulance. <br /> <br />PORTABLE CYLINDER BRACKET No 1: This rack will be located on the side of the RF ALS near the walk through <br />door. <br /> <br />PORTABLE CYLINDER BRACKET No 2 & 3: These two racks will be located in the left front (M-1) compartment, <br />mounted on the forward wall. <br /> <br />RACK LOCATION: The rack will be located on the aisle side of the ALS cabinet. <br /> <br />MAIN CYLINDER RESTRAINT No 1: One agency supplied compressed, medical gas cylinder will be carried and <br />secured, vertically inside the left front exterior compartment. A bracket will be firmly bolted to the back wall <br />of the compartment that allows for an Aluminum laser cut and multi-bend engineering bracket to be installed <br />in either an M or H tank height setting. The bracket features pass thru holes for four (4) heavy duty ratchet <br />style, web straps. The Entire system has been tested to the latest revision of SAE relevant testing and passed. <br />The cylinder valve will also be visible and accessible from the inside through a clear lexan door. <br /> <br />CYLINDER TYPE: This rack will be for a MEDICAL OXYGEN cylinder. The oxygen system input hose will be <br />suspended over this rack. This input hose will feature a nonferrous 9/16-18 RH bottle nut and regulator <br />barb. This connection will comply with the diameter index safety system (DISS) set forth by the <br />Compressed Gas Association (CGA) for safety. <br /> <br />CYLINDER RACK LOCATION: The main oxygen cylinder will be stored in the left front compartment. The <br />cylinder rack will be through bolted on the back wall, near the right-hand wall of the compartment. The
