American Response Vehicles <br />41 <br /> <br />INTERCOM PREWIRE: This agency will supply the necessary cables to be installed. Each cable will be supplied to <br />the secondary stage manufacturer with tags on both ends of the cables. (2) 22-gauge 9 wire cable will be <br />installed from the forward area of the overhead squad bench cabinet to the center console. <br /> <br />125V SHORE LINE AND OUTLETS <br /> <br />SHORE LINE INLET No 1: The primary 125 Volt shoreline inlet, rated at 20 Amperes will be supplied. The plug <br />style will be a straight blade (NEMA 5-20P) style with a U-shaped ground. The inlet will automatically eject the <br />shoreline connector when the vehicle ignition switch is placed in the START position. The shoreline inlet will <br />employ a novel internal switch that closes and opens the 125 Volt circuit after the mating connector is <br />inserted and before the connector is removed to eliminate arcing at the connector contacts. This will prolong <br />the life of the inlet and the shoreline connector. The inlet will be protected with a weatherproof cover. <br /> <br />SHORE LINE COVER: The shoreline inlet will be protected with a Yellow weatherproof cover. <br /> <br />SHORELINE EJECT TIMER: The shoreline timer will be an Inpower VCM-05-01SF to allow the auto eject to be <br />wired to the ignition switch ILO splicing into the OEM starter circuit. <br /> <br />125 VAC OUTLETS <br /> <br />125 VAC OUTLETS: The following outlets will be UL listed, 125 Volt, Hospital grade, Straight blade NEMA 5-15R <br />outlets. Each outlet will be installed in a UL listed, recessed, galvanized steel back box with a minimum of one <br />and three quarter inch of box depth. The outlet cover will be stainless steel. The outlet and Back Box must be <br />grounded and protected by a G.F.I. (Ground Fault Interrupted) Breaker. Additionally, each outlet body must <br />illuminate when power is applied to the outlet. Each Outlet will be clearly labeled with a permanent RED <br />colored decal defining the outlet voltage. <br /> <br />125 VAC Outlet No. 1: This 125 Volt outlet will be located in the patient cabin's, main "Action Area". <br /> <br />125 VAC OUTLET No. 2: This 125 Volt outlet will be located inside of the right front ALS Cabinet. The outlet will <br />be mounted on the back wall of the cabinet (related to inside access) in the upper right corner. The location of <br />the outlet will be defined on the proposal drawings. <br /> <br />125 VAC OUTLET No. 3: This 125 Volt outlet will be located in the patient cabin's, telemetry area that is located <br />just aft of the street side CPR side seat. The outlet will be mounted on the back wall so that the depth of the <br />back box does not protrude into adjacent cabinets. The location of the outlet will be defined on the proposal <br />drawings. <br /> <br />125 VAC OUTLET No. 4: This 125 Volt outlet will be located in the on the interior curb side, within the main wall <br />panel and just above the top of the squad bench. The location of the outlet will be defined on the proposal <br />drawings. <br />
