American Response Vehicles <br />32 <br /> <br />PUBLIC ADDRESS (Visual) WARNING LIGHTS <br /> <br />WARNING LIGHTS: The primary warning lights will be Whelen Super LED Series with chrome flange. All <br />warning lights will have clear lens. The warning lights that are mounted to the modular body will be connected <br />to the ambulance via Wago Cage Clamps. The warning light that are located on the cab will be connected with <br />Deutsch weatherproof 3-pin connector kits. The warning lights that are mounted on the doors will have a male <br />and female spade connector. The use of butt connectors or any other type will not be acceptable. The exact <br />location, color, and flash pattern will be determined at the pre-construction conference. <br /> <br />WARNING LIGHT SIZE AND LOCATION: The size and location of the warning lights will be as follows: <br /> 2-700 Red Grille Lights <br /> 2-400 Red Front Intersection Lights <br /> 1-900 White (Clear) Center Front Conversion Light <br /> 6-900 Red Front of the Conversion Lights <br /> 2-900 Red Upper Outer Light on Each Side <br /> 1-700 Red Rear Intersection Light on Each Side <br /> 2-900 Red Upper Outer Light on the rear of the body <br /> 2-900 Red Mid-Height Lights on the rear of the body, with brake light override <br /> 1-900 Amber Upper Center Light <br />All Warning Lights will have Clear Lenses. <br /> <br />WARNING LIGHT ACTIVATION: The warning light system will have a sequencer with load manager built into <br />the multiplex electrical system. The warning light system will be controlled with a Primary and Secondary <br />switch as described by Federal Specifications KKK-A-1822F. In addition, there will be separate switching for the <br />skirtrail and door open warning lights. Primary will flash all lights, Secondary will flash Red and Amber lights <br />only. <br /> <br />Headlight Flasher: The manufacturer will ensure that the chassis programming is activated for headlight flashing <br />when triggered by the installed conversion electrical system. This headlight flasher is a warning device for <br />emergency usage. The corresponding switch or icon will activate this activity. The chassis program will engage <br />when the headlights are turned on. <br /> <br />RECHARGEABLE FLASHLIGHT: Two (2) StreamLight "SL-20LP" rechargeable flash lights will be supplied and <br />installed by the ambulance manufacturer. The light will have a polymer case, unbreakable lens, and a run time <br />of one and one half hours (Between charges). The light will charge back to 100% in twelve to fourteen hours. <br />The light will measure 13" Long. The weight will be 1.0 pounds. <br />
