American Response Vehicles <br />23 <br /> <br />BODY CORNER POST PROTECTION: The lowest front twenty four inches (24") of the corner post extrusions will <br />be protected against stones and road debris. The corner post guards will be formed of .080 thick polished <br />aluminum diamond plate, contour fit to the corner post extrusions and riveted into place. A bead of silver <br />colored, silicone sealant will be applied across the top edge of the guards. The bottom of edge of the guard <br />will be left unsealed to promote moisture drainage. <br /> <br />BODY CORNER POST PROTECTION: The lower rear twenty four inches (24") of the corner post extrusions will <br />be protected against stones and road debris. The corner post guards will be formed of .080 thick polished <br />aluminum diamond plate, contour fit to the corner post extrusions and riveted into place. A bead of silver <br />colored, silicone sealant will be applied across the top edge of the guards. The bottom of edge of the guard <br />will be left unsealed to promote moisture drainage. <br /> <br />REAR KICK PLATE: The rear kick plate will be made of 0.100 inch thick Polished aluminum diamond plate and <br />run from corner post to corner post. The height will be tapered from the skirt-line of the body to the bottom <br />door jamb under the rear access doors and then transition from under the rear doors to the same height as the <br />rear corner guards on the corner post. <br /> <br />RECOVERY EYES: Two vertically oriented, heavy duty cast iron tow eyes with a one inch threaded stud will be <br />through bolted to a one half inch thick steel plate that is continuously welded to the end of the OEM Frame. <br />The recovery eyes will be recessed into the kick panel so that the tangency of the eyes are co-planer with or <br />set back up to one inch. The recovery (tow) eyes will not be trip hazard to personnel entering and leaving the <br />rear access doors. Each tow eye has a safe working load of 21,000 lbs. <br /> <br />ACCESS HOLES: Access to the recovery eyes will be made through a finished access hole through the Diamond <br />plate "Kick panel" under the rear doors. The access holes will be at least five inches in diameter and the <br />edges of the holes will be covered in automotive edge trim. The trim must be bonded to the kick plate in <br />addition to the clamp on ribbing that will be built into the trim. <br /> <br />RECESSED TAG AREA: The kick plate will feature a centered and illuminated recessed area to mount a <br />standard U.S. six inch high by twelve inch wide license plate. The recessed area must be located as specified <br />below and aesthetically TIG Welded around the perimeter of the opening. Threaded inserts and bolts to install <br />the tag will be installed and provided. <br /> <br />RECESSED TAG AREA LOCATION: The tag area will be centered in the kick plate. <br /> <br />TAG LIGHT: The tag area will be LED illuminated with the park light circuit. <br /> <br />FRONT OF BODY: The front of the body will have skirt-line protection plates made of .080 aluminum diamond <br />plate. The corner posts will have form fit diamond plate protection height matched to the frontal plates. The <br />height of the protection is twenty four inches up from the body skirt line. <br />
