The tray will be <br />mounted on the forward wall of the compartment. <br /> <br />COMPARTMENT COMPONENT FINISH: The fixed divider, adjustable shelf, and the stair chair roll out tray will <br />require a high strength, abrasion, and chemical resistant finish. This compartment’s components will have <br />black speed liner installed. <br /> <br />SLIDES: Heavy Duty, full extension drawer slides will be installed on the aforementioned roll out tray. The Zinc <br />plated steel slides will be side mounted and rated at 250 pounds per pair. The slide travel will be at least equal <br />to the length of the slide assembly. The slide will incorporate ball bearings to reduce fiction between the rails <br />on each slide. Attachment screws will be at least 0.250 inch diameter with locking nuts. The slide will also have <br />a built in, end of travel, rubber bumpers to reduce steel to steel collision noises. One of the slides will have a <br />locking point at full extension and at full return with a yellow thumb release. The slides will be securely <br />fastened to the compartment floor or side walls depending upon location request. <br /> <br />RETAINER STRAP: There will be one, two inch wide webbed strap will be supplied in the aforementioned <br />compartment. The strap will be designed and positioned on the stair chair tray for the purpose of holding the <br />stair chair in position during transit. The strap will employ a metal buckle system with a push button release. <br />The strap be fastened to the compartment walls with a two inch footman's loop. Plastic "Luggage" type <br />buckles and smaller webbing size is not acceptable. Attachment screws will not pierce the strap webbing. <br /> <br />FOOTMAN LOOP: There will be a 2" footman loops located back from the jamb opening on the compartment. <br /> <br />RETAINER STRAPS: There will be an additional pair of two inch wide webbed strap will be supplied in the <br />aforementioned compartment. The strap will be designed and positioned to prevent backboards and other <br />related items, that may have shifted against the door during transit, from falling out of the compartment <br />when the door is opened. The strap will employ a metal buckle system with a push button release. The strap <br />be fastened to the compartment walls with a two inch footman's loop. Plastic "Luggage" type buckles and <br />smaller webbing size is not acceptable. Attachment screws will not pierce the strap webbing. <br /> <br />COMPARTMENT LIGHTS: (2) Two lights will be mounted in the "M-5" compartment. Both lights will be surface <br />mount and will be LED. (1) light will be center mounted in the compartment ceiling, (1) light will be located on <br />the bottom of the adjustable shelf. <br /> <br />REAR ACCESS DOORS: The rear of the module will be equipped with double, hinged patient compartment <br />access doors. The doors will be centered on the body and align with the patient compartment aisle space. The <br />doors will measure 46 3/4 inches wide by 60 5/8" high, jamb to jamb. <br /> <br />REAR ACCESS DOOR JAMB: At the rear access doors, a full width, formed, stainless steel jamb protection plate <br />will be provided to prevent the cot frames from chipping the paint. The stainless steel protection package will <br />start from under the kick plate and follow the contour of the jamb extrusion, cover the end of the sub-floor, <br />and cover the last four inches of the vinyl floor covering. <br />
