Commissioner Wyncott made a motion for the installation of 22 metal storm windows on the front <br />structure on COA #2020-0904. Seconded by Commissioner Andrews. <br />Five in favor, one opposed. <br />Vote: 5 —1. Motion to approve the installation of 22 metal storm windows on the front structure <br />on COA #2020-0904 passes. <br />COMMISSION DISCUSSION SECTION 3: INSTALLATION OF THE 'WINDOWS ON THE <br />REAR STRUCTURE: <br />Commissioner Gelfman began discussion of the rear structure. <br />Commissioner Deegan asked why the windows are different in the indicated photographs. <br />Mr. Herschberger stated that the photographs were taken over a year ago when work was being <br />executed, and explained the dimensions of the windows, and that the configuration was what <br />was in place before. <br />Commissioner Deegan asked why the size was different. <br />Commissioner Downs-Krostenko stated that it was because of the shower. <br />Commissioner Wyncott asked if this rear structure was adjacent to the alley. <br />Mr. Herschberger stated that it was. <br />PUBLIC DISCUSSION SECTION 3: INSTALLATION OF THE WINDOWS ON THE REAR <br />STRUCTURE: <br />N/A <br />Commissioner Andrews made a motion to deny the retroactive installation of the installed <br />windows on the rear structure on COA #2020-0904. <br />Commissioner Downs-Krostenko asked if she could amend the motion with Commissioner Andrews' <br />motion, that the windows should be denied, but that the selection of the replacement windows should be <br />remanded to staff. Commissioner Andrews agreed to the amendment. <br />Commissioner Andrews made a motion to deny the retroactive installation of the installed <br />windows on the rear structure, and that the selection of the replacement windows should be <br />remanded to staff. Seconded by Commissioner Stalheim. <br />Five in favor, one opposed. <br />Vote: 5 —1. Motion to deny the retroactive installation of the installed windows on the rear <br />structure, and that the selection of the replacement windows should be remanded to staff on COA <br />#2020-0904 passes. <br />Commissioner Gelfman clarified that the rear windows need to be removed and that the selection of the <br />replacement windows should be reviewed by staff before they are installed. Commissioner <br />Gelfman strongly suggested looking into wood windows. <br />Commissioner Downs-Krostenko clarified that the more appropriate window size may be discovered <br />after the removal of the siding. <br />COMMISSION DISCUSSION SECTION 4: INSTALLATION OF REPLACEMENT STORM <br />DOORS: <br />Commissioner Gelfman began discussion on the replacement of the storm doors <br />
