<br />Mr. Patrick Sherman, Venues, Parks & Arts, advised the Board that on September 8, 2020,
<br />quotations were received and opened for the above referenced project. After reviewing those
<br />quotations, Mr. Sherman recommended that the Board award the contract to the lowest
<br />responsive and responsible quoter, Martell Electric, LLC, 4601 Cleveland Rd., South Bend, IN
<br />46628, in the amount of $55,739. Therefore, Ms. Maradik made a motion that the
<br />recommendation be accepted, and the quotation be awarded, and the contract approved as
<br />outlined above. Mr. Molnar seconded the motion, which carried by roll call.

<br />in the amount of $4,028. Therefore, Ms. Maradik made a motion that the recommendation be
<br />accepted, and the quotation be awarded, and the contract approved as outlined above. Mr.
<br />Molnar seconded the motion, which carried by roll call.

<br />Ms. Alicia Czarnecki, Engineering, advised the Board that on August 25, 2020, quotations were
<br />received and opened for the above referenced project. After reviewing those quotations, Ms.
<br />Czarnecki recommended that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and
<br />responsible quoter, Fuerbringer Landscaping & Design, Inc., 22530 Brick Rd., South Bend, IN
<br />46628, in the amount of $24,645. Therefore, Ms. Maradik made a motion that the
<br />recommendation be accepted, and the quotation be awarded, and the contract approved as
<br />outlined above. Mr. Molnar seconded the motion, which carried by roll call.
<br />AWARD QUOTATION AND APPROVE CONTRACT — 1201 WESTERN AVE. SIDEWALK
<br />VAULT REPAIR — PROJECT NO. 120-019 (PR-00003354)
<br />Mr. Kyle Silveus, Engineering, advised the Board that on September 8, 2020, quotations were
<br />received and opened for the above referenced project. After reviewing those quotations, Mr.
<br />Silveus recommended that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible
<br />quoter, John Boettcher Sewer & Excavating Contractor, Ltd., 3305 N. Home St., Mishawaka, IN
<br />46545, in the amount of $91,594.04. Therefore, Ms. Maradik made a motion that the
<br />recommendation be accepted, and the quotation be awarded, and the contract approved as
<br />outlined above. Mr. Molnar seconded the motion, which carried by roll call.
<br />APPROVE REQUEST TO REJECT QUOTATIONS — TRIUMPH COURT LIGHTING
<br />ADDITION — PROJECT NO. 120-006E (PR-00003680)
<br />In a memorandum to the Board, Mr. Finnan Cavanaugh, Engineering, requested permission to
<br />reject all quotations for the above referenced project due to exceeding the budget. Therefore,
<br />upon a motion made by Ms. Maradik, seconded by Mr. Molnar and carried by roll call, the above
<br />request was approved.
<br />APPROVE REQUEST TO RESCIND QUOTATION AWARD — 2018 COUNTY -CITY
<br />BUILDING OFFICE UPDATES — PROJECT NO. 118-079 (COIT; DCI REPAIR &
<br />MAINTENANCE)
<br />In a memorandum to the Board, Mr. Zach Hurst, Engineering, requested permission to rescind
<br />the quote award to Brown & Brown General Contractors, in the amount of $117,428, for the
<br />above referenced project due to lack of funding stemming from COVID. Therefore, upon a
<br />motion made by Ms. Maradik, seconded by Mr. Molnar and carried by roll call, the quotation
<br />award was rescinded.
<br />APPROVE REQUEST TO RESCIND QUOTATION AWARD — CODE ENFORCEMENT
<br />VESTIBULE REMODELING — PROJECT NO. 119-101 (CODE ENFORCEMENT)
<br />In a memorandum to the Board, Mr. Zach Hurst, Engineering, requested permission to rescind
<br />the quote award to R. Yoder Construction, Inc., in the amount of $23,150, for the above
<br />referenced project due to lack of funding stemming from COVID. Therefore, upon a motion
<br />made by Ms. Maradik, seconded by Mr. Molnar and carried, the quotation award was rescinded.
