3. Dissemination of Policy <br />A. All members of the Company's staff who are authorized to hire, supervise, <br />promote, and discharge employees, or who recommend such action, will be <br />made fully cognizant of, and will implement,the company's equal <br />employment opportunity policy and contractual responsibilities. To insure that <br />the above agreement will be met, the following actions will be taken as 'a <br />minimum: <br />(1) Periodic meetings of supervisory and personnel office employees will be <br />conducted not less than every six months, at which time the Company's <br />equal employment opportunity policy and its implementation will be <br />reviewed and explained. The meetings will be conducted by the EEO <br />Officer or other knowledgeable Company official. <br />(2) All new supervisory or personnel office employees will be given a <br />thorough indoctrination' by the EEO Officer or other knowledgeable <br />Company official covering all major aspects of the Company's`' equal <br />employment opportunity obligations within thirty days following their <br />reporting for duty with the Company.' <br />(3) The EEO Officer or appropriate Company Official will advise all <br />employees through supervisory personnel engaged in the direct <br />recruitment of employees relative to the methods' followed by the <br />Company in locating and hiring minority and female employees. <br />(4) Larson -Danielson Construction Co., Inc. will maintain a working <br />environment free of harassment, intimidation, and coercion at all sites and <br />in all facilities at which Larson Danielson Construction Co.,` Inc. <br />employees are assigned to work. The Company shall specifically insure <br />that all foremen, superintendents, and other onsite supervisory personnel <br />are aware of and carry out Larson Danielson Construction Co., Inc. <br />obligation to maintain such a working environment, with specific attention <br />to minorities or women working at such sites or in such facilities. <br />B. In order to make the Company's equal employment opportunity policy known <br />to all employees, prospective employees, and potential sources of <br />employees, i.e., schools, employment agencies, labor unions, college <br />placement officers, etc., the Company will take the following action: <br />(1) Notices and posters setting forth the Company's equal employment <br />opportunity policy will be placed in areas readily accessible to employees, <br />applicants for employment and potential employees. <br />(2) The Company's equal employment opportunity policy and the procedures <br />to implement such policy will be brought to the attention of employees by <br />means of meetings, employees' handbooks, or other appropriate means. <br />(3) The company will send each labor union or representative of workers with <br />which it has a collective bargaining agreement or other contract or <br />understanding, a notice advising the labor union or worker's <br />representative of its commitments under Executive Order 11246. <br />
