Statement of Policy <br />To further the provisions of equal employment opportunity to all persons without <br />regard to their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin, and to promote the full <br />realization of equal employment opportunity through a positive continuing <br />program it is the policy of Larson Danielson Construction Co., Inc. to assure that <br />applicants are employed and that employees are treated during ;employment <br />without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Such action <br />shall include: employment, upgrading, demotion, or transfer; recruitment or <br />recruitment advertising, lay-off or termination; rates of pay :or other forms of <br />compensation; and selection for training, including apprenticeship, pre - <br />apprenticeship, and/or on-the-job training. <br />2. Responsibility for the Pro ram <br />Timothy F. Larson will personally oversee the program and will appoint Terry A <br />Larson as the Equal Employment Opportunity Officer (hereinafter referred to as <br />the EEO Officer) to carry out the program. The EEO Officer is hereby given full <br />authority to carry out the program and is given the responsibility to: <br />(1) Develop policy statements and internal and external communication <br />procedures. <br />(2) Assist line management in collecting and analyzing employment data, <br />identify problem areas, set goals and timetables and develop' programs to <br />achieve goals. Such programs shall include specific remedies to eliminate <br />any discriminatory practices discovered in the employment system. <br />(3) Design, implement and monitor internal audit and report systems to <br />measure program effectiveness and to determine where progress has <br />been made and where further action is needed and, if necessary, to <br />assure that such action is taken. <br />(4) Report, at least quarterly, to Larson Danielson Construction Co., Inc. on <br />progress of each unit in relation to company goals. <br />(5) Serve as liaison between company, government regulatory agencies, <br />minority and women's organizations, and other community groups, <br />(6) Assure that current legal information affecting affirmative action is <br />disseminated to responsible officials. <br />www.ldconstructioncom Equal Opportunity Employer <br />
