"c2 71-9 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 8228-91 <br /> RELATING TO THE REGISTRATION OF BUILDING CONTRACTORS <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT <br /> The purpose of this ordinance is to amend Ordinance No. 8228-91, <br /> governing the registration of building contractors in the City of <br /> South Bend, by changing its effective date from July 1, 1992 to <br /> November 1, 1992. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section I. Section III of Ordinance No. 8228-91 is amended to <br /> read as follows: <br /> Section III. This Ordinance shall be in full force and <br /> effect eri-Jtlp-1;-1992; on November 1, 1992, and from and <br /> after its passage by the Common Council and approval by the <br /> Mayor. <br /> Section II.
