REGULAR MEETING SEPTEMBER 8, 2020 149 <br />AGENDA REVIEW MEETING <br />The Agenda Review Session of the Board of Public Works scheduled for September 3, 2020, <br />was cancelled. <br />REGULAR MEETING SEPTEMBER 8, 2020 <br />The Regular Meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at 9:32 a.m. on Tuesday, <br />September 8, 2020, by Board President Gary A. Gilot. The meeting was streamed live to the <br />public with Board President Gary A. Gilot and Board Members Elizabeth Maradik, Therese <br />Dorau, Jordan Gathers, and Joseph Molnar present. Ms. Dorau confirmed the presence of all <br />members with a roll call. Also present was Board Attorney Clara McDaniels and Clerk of the <br />Board Linda Martin. <br />APPROVE MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING <br />Upon a motion made by Ms. Maradik, seconded by Mr. Molnar and carried by roll call, the <br />minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Board held on August 25, 2020, were approved. <br />PUBLIC HEARING — NEW MASSAGE ESTABLISHMENT LICENSE - DIG DEEP <br />MASSAGE <br />Mr. Gilot advised that this was the date set for the Board's Public Hearing concerning a new <br />Massage License application for Dig Deep Massage, 401 E. Colfax Ave. It was noted favorable <br />recommendations were received from City staff. There being no one present wishing to address <br />the Board concerning this matter, the Public Hearing was closed. Therefore, upon a motion made <br />by Ms. Maradik, seconded by Mr. Molnar and carried by roll call, the license was approved. Ms. <br />Heidi Kagarise, Dig Deep Massage Co., later informed the Board she was present during the <br />hearing and able to hear but not able to speak. She thanked the Board for the approval of her <br />license. <br />OPENING AND AWARD OF BIDS — APPROVE CONTRACT — CENTURY CENTER <br />ESPORTS ARENA — PROJECT NO. 119-106CR (HOTEL/MOTEL TAX FUND) <br />This was the date set for receiving and opening of sealed bids for the above referenced project. <br />The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of Notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri- <br />County News, which were found to be sufficient.
