Item #1: New Wood Deck <br />New wood deck constructed from treated lumber. <br />Dimensions: 16'-4” x 18'-5.” <br />Elevation < 28” above grade. <br />This deck is constructed in the fenced back yard and is not visible from the street or the front <br />of the house. No historic elements of the house or the site were disturbed in the construction <br />of this deck. The area this deck covers was previously grass and a small portion of sidewalk. <br />No building permit was required for this deck by the St. Joseph County Building Department <br />since the deck did not exceed an elevation of 30” above grade and it did not include any roof <br />or awning/canopy.
