Teamster Salary Ordinance <br /> Page 6 <br /> Section III. Bonus Payment. <br /> A. The City shall pay a bonus to each eligible employees. The bonus shall be paid by <br /> separate check and shall have normal withholdings deducted therefrom. The bonus checks <br /> shall be paid as follows: <br /> Bonus Eligibility Date Date Paid <br /> 1st Bonus Payment January 1, 1993 2d pay period in <br /> of$500.00 January of 1993 <br /> 2nd Bonus Payment June 15, 1993 1st pay period in <br /> of$500.00 July of 1993 <br /> 3rd Bonus Payment January 1, 1994 2d pay period in <br /> of$300.00 January of 1994 <br /> B. All eligible employees who have worked within the sixty (60) calendar days preceding <br /> the first eligibility date of January 1, 1993 shall be paid the full bonus payment. All who <br /> are employees on subsequent eligibility dates,whether active, on leave or on layoff, will be <br /> prorated on a calendar month basis over the twelve (12)full months preceding the eligibility <br /> date with the employee receiving credit for 1/12 bonus payment for each month worked. <br /> For purposes of prorating, an employee shall be given credit if he or she works eleven (11) <br /> days in the month. For purposes of paying bonuses, worked means actually worked as an <br /> employee during the time period referred to and paid vacation and paid holidays shall count <br /> as days worked in the month total. Employees who are probationary employees as of the <br /> eligibility date shall be paid a bonus when he or she becomes a seniority employee. In such <br /> cases, the bonus shall be paid with his or her first full pay check received as a seniority <br /> employee. <br /> Section IV. Holidays. <br /> A. Each such employee shall have ten (10) holidays per calendar year. The following nine <br /> (9)holidays are recognized by the Employer: <br /> New Year's Day Veteran's Day <br /> Good Friday Thanksgiving Day <br /> Memorial Day Day after Thanksgiving <br /> Fourth of July Christmas Day <br /> Labor Day <br /> The remaining one (1) holiday shall be as selected by the individual employee, with the <br /> consent of the City, from the following: <br /> Christmas Eve <br /> New Year's Eve <br /> Easter Monday <br /> Martin Luther King's Birthday <br /> Columbus Day <br /> Employee's Birthday <br /> Election Day(Indiana Primary or General Election Day) <br /> B. Employees represented by Teamster Local Union No. 364 shall receive their regular <br /> hourly rate of pay including any premiums for each of the ten (10) holidays. An Employee <br /> working a five 8-hour day workweek shall receive 8 hours pay for each of the ten (10) <br /> holidays,providing he or she has worked the regularly scheduled day before and after the <br /> holiday unless officially excused. An employee working a four 10-hour day work-week <br /> shall receive 10 hours pay for each of the ten (10) holidays, providing he or she has <br /> worked the regularly scheduled day before and after the holiday unless officially excused. <br /> Should the employee use a sick day either the day before or the day after the holiday, he or <br />
