Dan <br />Parker responded he would get her a written answer from DCI or the Mayor. Councilmember <br />Tomas -Morgan asked for clarification concerning the Light Up South Bend program. <br />Eric Horvath, Director of Public Works, with offices on the 10 floor of the County -City <br />Building, South Bend, IN, responded to Councilmember Tomas -Morgan's question. <br />Chair White asked Mr. Horvath to share more about the Light Up South Bend program. He <br />stated they would send out more information about the Light Up South Bend and The Lamp Post <br />programs to clarify any confusion. <br />Councilmember Sheila Niezgodski asked about the Home Repair program. Councilmember <br />Niezgodski inquired if the expansion would be overall in the City of South Bend or only in <br />targeted areas. Pam Meyer responded that it is undetermined at this time. Councilmember <br />Niezgodski followed up with another question concerning the Neighborhood Development Plan <br />for 2020. She asked what might be encumbered into 2021 that wasn't used in 2020 due to <br />COVID. <br />Tim Corcoran responded neighborhood plans are in place to move forward in 2021 due to not <br />being finalized in 2020 because of COVID. Mr. Corcoran is hoping for half of the 2020 budget <br />concerning this plan to be encumbered. <br />Chair White asked for an update on Linden Avenue. Tim Corcoran answered Linden Avenue is <br />part of the 2020 plan and will move forward into 2021. Ms. Alridge stated that Linden is part of <br />the Kenndey Park plan. Chair White asked to see the complete schedule for Linden Avenue for <br />clarification. Chair White requested a comprehensive map with neighborhood plans sent to <br />Councilmembers because community members would like to know the information. Tim Corcoran <br />said he would send a map to each Councilmember. <br />Councilmember Henry Davis Jr. asked about the Lincolnway West and Western corridor <br />programs. Tim Corcoran responded they could get into a more in-depth conversation later. He <br />did share that Western seemed to be more heavily utilized. He believes the amount that went into <br />both is similar. Councilmember Davis Jr. stated he had concerns regaring the funding. Ms. Aldrige <br />shared Lincolnway is an expansive corridor and gave detail concerning the difference between <br />building up both corridors. Coucnilmember Davis Jr. followed up with asking about the shelter at <br />LaSalle Park. <br />Aaron Perri, Executive Director of Venue Arts and Parks, with offices at 321 E. Walter St, South <br />Bend, IN, responded to Councilmember Davis Jr., he would get with Tim and look into the plans <br />for this shelter. <br />Councilmember Lori K. Hamann asked a question concerning properties purchased by the City. <br />Councilmember Hamann would like clarification on what the usage would be for the properties. <br />Tim Cocoran responded to Councilmember Hamann. <br />Councilmember Hamann followed up with asking about leaf pick up and the amount shown <br />covering all expenses. Councilmember Hamann stated the amount seems very low.
