The wiper controlshallinclude high and low wiperspeed settings, a one (1)-speed <br />intermittentwiper controland windshield washer switch. The controlshallhavea"return to <br />park" provision, which allows the wiperstoreturntothe stored position when the wipersare <br />notin use. <br />YES/NO <br />SPARE CIRCUIT <br />Thereshallbe four(4)pairof wires,includinga positive anda negative,installedon the <br />apparatus. <br />The above wiresshallhavethefollowing features: <br />The positivewire shallbeconnecteddirectlytothebattery power. <br />The negative wireshallbeconnected to ground. <br />Wiresshallbe protected to15 ampsat 12 volts DC. <br />Power and ground shallterminate twoinemscabinetand two betweendriverand <br />officer center dasharea. <br />Termination shall be with15-amp, power point plug with rubber cover. <br />Wiresshallbesizedto125% ofthe protection. <br />Thiscircuit(s)may beloadmanaged when the parkingbrake isset. <br />YES/NO <br />VEHICLE DATA RECORDER <br />A vehicledata recorder(VDR) shallbe provided. TheVDR shallbecapableofreadingand <br />storingvehicleinformation. The VDR shallbe capableof operating ina voltagerangefrom <br />8VDC to 16VDC. The VDR shall notinterferewith,suspend,ordelay anycommunications <br />thatmay exist onthe CANdatalink during the powerup, initialization,runtime, or power <br />down sequence. The VDRshall continueoperationupon terminationof power orat voltages <br />below 8VDC for a minimum of10ms. <br />The informationstored on the VDR can be downloaded througha USB portmountedin a <br />convenientlocation determined by cabmodel. A CD provided with the apparatusshall <br />includetheprogrammingto download the informationfromthe VDR.
