South Bend Fire Department <br />Each tank level gauge system shall include: <br />·A pressure transducermounted on the outside of the tank in an easily accessible area. <br />·A super bright LED 4-light displays with a visual indication at nine accurate levels. <br />·Weatherresistantconnectorstoconnecttothedigitaldisplay,tothepressuretransducerandtothe <br />apparatus power. <br />The primary water tank level gauge shall be installed at the pump panel. <br />One (1)Water Tank Gauge,Whelen PS TANK2LED,LevelLts, Pair,Cls 1 <br />27-35-6102 <br />WATER TANK LEVEL LIGHTS <br />Two (2) Whelen PS-TANK2 vertically mountedLED lights shall be installed one each side of <br />the apparatus to allow for monitoring the water tank level from a distance. <br />They shall be configuredas follows: <br />·GREEN - Position 1 indicates FULL <br />·BLUE - Position 2 indicates 3/4 <br />·AMBER - Position 3 indicates 1/2 <br />·RED - Position 4 indicates 1/4 <br />Each light shall remain illuminated until the water level drops below full 3/4, 1/2, or 1/4 levels. <br />When the level drops below 1/4 the RED light will flash to indicate an empty tank. The Whelen <br />PS-TANK water tank level lights shall be controlled with a Class 1Intell-tank remote driver. <br />One (1)Air Horn, Push Button, Pump Panel <br />27-37-1100 <br />AIR HORN PUSH-BUTTON <br />One (1) push button with a label shall be installedon the pump instrument panel to operate the <br />air horns. <br />One (1)Air Outlet,PumpPanel, Plug-in Connection, Left Side <br />27-37-2000 <br />AIR OUTLET - LEFTSIDE PUMP PANEL <br />One (1)auxiliary air outlet with a quick release fitting shall be installed on the driver side pump <br />panel.
