An additionaltubeshallbe provided forfillingtheengineoil. <br />The door shall have a rubber sealforthermalandacousticinsulation. One(1) latch shall be <br />providedon the access door. <br />CAB SAFETY SYSTEMYES/NO <br />The cabshallbeprovidedwith asafety systemdesigned to protect occupantsin the eventof <br />a side roll orfrontalimpact, and shall includethefollowing: <br />·A supplementalrestraint system (SRS) sensor shall beinstalledon astructuralcab <br />member behindtheinstrumentpanel. The SRSsensorshall performreal time <br />diagnostics ofallcriticalsubsystems and shall recordsensory inputsimmediately <br />before and duringasideroll orfrontalimpact event. <br />·A slave SRS sensorshall be installedin the ceilingof the cabtoprovidecapacityfor <br />eight (8)crewcab seatingpositions. <br />·A fault-indicatinglight shall be providedon the vehicle's instrument panelallowing <br />thedrivertomonitorthe operationalstatus ofthe SRSsystem. <br />·A driversidefrontair bag shall bemountedinthesteering wheeland shall be <br />designedtoprotect the head and uppertorsoof the occupant, when usedin <br />combination withthethree(3)-pointseat belt. <br />·A passenger side knee bolsterairbag shall bemountedin themodestypanel below <br />thedashpanel andshallbedesignedtoprotect the legs of the occupant, when used in <br />combination withthethree(3)-pointseat belt. <br />·Air curtains shall be provided intheoutboard bolsterof outboard seatbacks to <br />provide acushionbetweenoccupantandthecab wall. <br />·Suspensionseatsshallbeprovided withdevicestoretractthemto thelowesttravel <br />position duringasiderollor frontalimpact event. <br />·Seatbeltsshallbe provided with pre-tensionerstoremoveslackfromtheseat belt <br />during a side rollorfrontalimpact event. <br />YES/NO <br />FRONTAL IMPACT PROTECTION <br />The SRS system shallprovide protection during afrontalor obliqueimpactevent.The <br />systemshallactivate whenthevehicledeceleratesatapredetermined G forceknown to cause <br />injurytothe occupants. The caband chassisshallhave been subjected,viathirdparty test <br />facility, toa crash impactduringfrontaland oblique impacttesting. Testingincludedall <br />majorchassis andcabcomponents suchasmounting strapsforfuel andairtanks,suspension <br />mounts,frontsuspensioncomponents,rearsuspensions components, framerailcross <br />members,engine andtransmission and their mounts,pump houseandmounts,frame <br />edto <br />extensionsand body mounts. Thetesting provided configuration specific information us <br />optimizethetimingforfiring thesafety restraintsystem.
