GVW and 23,000 lbs. front axle load. The <br />design loads are 23,000 lbs. vertical and .5G braking with a 2X plus factorof safety on the <br />vertical load anda 1.5X factor of safety on the braking force(wreckerproviding .5G of braking <br />through the tow bar).NoExceptions. <br />The tow bar shall be mounted directly to the frame. The tube shall be madefrom 4.00 inch O.D. <br />by .38 inch wall thickness with a minimum yeild strength og 70,000 psi. No Exceptions. <br />The tow bar shall be hot dipped galvanized to give the maximum in corrosion resistance.
