yield point of 50,000 PSI and a minimum tensile strength of 70,000 <br />PSI. Bulk heads to be 3/8" minimum. <br />Debris storage body shall have a minimum useable capacity of (9) <br />cubic yards. Manufacturer supplied dimensional drawings and <br />documentation shall be included with bid. State useable capacity. <br />For the safety of the operator, the debris tank shall have an external <br />load level indicator, which monitors the internal level of debris in <br />tank and is visible from the operator's station. <br />The body shall have a full-size rear door that is hinged at the top and <br />equipped with a replaceable neoprene type seal to prevent leakage. <br />Rear door to be hydraulically operated up to a minimum 90 degrees <br />and down and shall include a safety prop. Hydraulic locks to be <br />provided. <br />The rear door shall be equipped with a body drain hose which allows <br />operator to drain off excess liquids while retaining solids. This drain <br />shall have a minimum 6" diameter liquid drain with bronze gate <br />valve. Drain will have a minimum of 15' of lay flat hose. State <br />height of decant drain opening. <br />A decant system shall be provided that assures 80% of debris tank <br />liquids are drained off while on the street. <br />The rear door shall have a decant screen to aid in the decanting <br />process. <br />For the safety of the operator and to eliminate the possibility of the <br />debris tank coming into contact with tree limbs and electrical power <br />lines, under no circumstances shall the debris body elevate during <br />the decant process. <br />For the safety of the operator and to increase productivity, the decant <br />process must occur at the operator's station and shall not require the <br />operator to leave his station to relocate or reposition the truck. <br />Debris body shall be dumped by raising the body to a 50-degree <br />angle utilizing a forward mounted, double acting hydraulic <br />telescoping hoist minimum. Unit to include safety prop. Debris <br />body will have an electric body vibrator, positioned at the operator's <br />station, to assist in removing the debris while dumping. A system of <br />high-pressure spray nozzles shall be installed to completely flush the <br />debris tank, including top, sides, bottom, and rear door. <br />The debris body shall be fixed on an independent frame, separate <br />
