NOTRE DAME UPDATES/CONCERNS: <br />Tim Sexton gave an update concerning the status of COVID procedures put in place on the <br />campus of The University of Notre Dame. Notre Dame will open on August 10th. They <br />developed a campaign called HERE. The campaign means here on campus we wear masks, here <br />we adhere to social distancing. Tim Sexton shared the campus is putting perimeters up for South <br />Dining hall, visitors on campus, events, and sports. <br />Leah Kicinski- Reported on campus housing for the University of Notre Dame. She stated a <br />resource available is www.offcampus.nd.edu for landlords and students. <br />Jay Brandenberger- Reported volunteer opportunities will be limited on campus. <br />Sarah Galbenski- Campus has added extra measures to distancing between classes. <br />Rachel Ingal- Reported further innovation is needed when it comes to helping in the community <br />concerning student activities. <br />HOLY CROSS COLLEGE UPDATES/CONCERNS: <br />Andrew — Reported on COVID procedures for Holy Cross Campus. He stated campus opens <br />August 10th and classes end November 20th. The campus will promote the formation for our <br />students as scholars, citizens, leaders, and disciples. This applies on campus and going out into <br />the wider community. <br />SAINT MARY'S COLLEGE UPDATES/CONCERNS: <br />No one present from this campus <br />INDIANA UNIVERSITY SOUTH BEND UPDATES/CONCERNS: <br />Andrew Pinto- Reported their campus committee of seven (7) working groups put together <br />health and safety guidelines for IUSB. All students, faculty, and staff will have face masks <br />provided and rigorous cleaning protocols are in place. Classes start August 24tH <br />Tom Stevik- Reported IUSB will limit visitors on campus and events that take place on campus <br />are postponed. Campus will be at eighty (80) percent capacity. <br />Rachel Tomas -Morgan opens the meeting for questions or comments. <br />Lori K. Hamman asked the campus representatives if they anticipate more students living off <br />campus than on campus due to COVID concerns. <br />Holy Cross responded first to the question and stated ninety (90) to ninety-five (95) percent <br />occupancy without their numbers seeing much change. <br />Tom Stevik at IUSB stated they are at eighty (80) percent. Campus will be one occupant per <br />bedroom, and they do not see significant change in this direction. <br />
