Tim Sexton stated The University of Notre Dame on campus housing will be full. There will be <br />no study abroad this year, those students will be living on campus. <br />Steve Hayes stated let's deliver a message that is accordance to the HERE campaign and not <br />leave room for students to wear a mask if they do not want to. Notre Dames signs are a good <br />start, but more consistent actions need to be seen by off campus actions. <br />Steve Hayes asked does the statement communication on campus include all students. Tim <br />Sexton replied it does mean communication with off campus and on campus students. <br />RESIDENTS/NEIGHBORS UPDATES AND CONCERNS: <br />Pam Claeys- Reported there are challenges with campus maintenance at IUSB. She is hopeful <br />with new administration and good communication these challenges will begin to get better. .In <br />terms of parking, there is residential parking in the neighborhood. She stated a reminder to IUSB <br />that the parking fines are fifty dollars so please let the students know. She reminded everyone <br />that the Neighborhood association plans are cancelled. <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND UPDATES/CONCERNS: <br />Rachel Tomas -Morgan asked a question to either Holy Cross or the University of Notre Dame to <br />give an update about the Police Station on Eddy street. Tim Sexton answers the question stating <br />he believes that location to be up and running. <br />Geovanny Martinez- Reported the location on Eddy Street concerning sub -station for Police <br />Department is not up and running. There is not a specific timeline set for the station to be active <br />due to current COVID concerns. <br />Rachel Tomas -Morgan asked if it would work for the upcoming meetings to be held on the first <br />Tuesday or Wednesday of the month, meeting every other month, at 3:30 or 4:00 p.m. All replied <br />yes. The next meeting is planned to meet in the month of August and then October.
