8. Finish the clay tile roofs as a completely waterproof and weatherproof <br />system requiring no further normal maintenance. <br />9. All tiles are to be carefully removed from the canopy walkway roof <br />and stored for reuse. <br /> <br />3.3 CLEAN UP <br /> <br />A. Promptly upon completion of this portion of the Work, remove from the site the <br />tools, equipment, surplus materials, tile-ends, and debris resulting from the <br />clay tile roof installation. <br /> <br />3.4 CLEANING <br /> <br />A. PREPARATION <br />1. Protect people, vehicles, property, plants and all surfaces not set for <br />cleaning from the product, splash, rinse, residue, fumes and wind drift. <br />Test all surfaces that may come in contact for compatibility. <br />Immediately rinse non-target materials with large quantities of water. <br />Divert pedestrian and auto traffic if necessary. <br />2. No cleaning shall take place when temperatures are below 50°F. <br />3. Contractor may not walk on clay tile roofing during cleaning. <br /> <br />B. APPLICATION <br />1. Prewet the surface with clean water. <br />2. Apply the appropriately diluted solution to surface using a brush or low- <br />pressure spray. <br />3. Let the cleaner stay on the surface 1-10 minutes, based on testing. <br />Gently scrub heavily soiled areas. NOTE: Do not let EK Zolo dry and <br />reapply the cleaner in a gently scrubbing manner. <br />4. Rinse the surface thoroughly with clean water. <br />5. Repeat steps 1 through 4 if necessary. <br /> <br />C. CLEAN-UP <br />1. Clean tools and equipment using fresh water. <br /> <br />D.
