B. Contractor shall furnish a written ten (10) year guarantee on the following <br />described work and shall cite at least ten (10) buildings so done, with dates of <br />completion, as evidence of his ability to perform the work and fulfill the terms of <br />the Guarantee. Contractors shall provide Owner with statement of protection <br />against loss arising from use of any patents or patents pending in connection <br />with this work. <br /> <br />1.6 ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: <br /> <br />A. Tuckpointing operations shall not be performed below 40 degrees F or above 95 <br />degrees F. <br /> <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br /> <br />2.1 WATER: <br /> <br />A. Water for chemical dilution and for pressure washing must be clean, potable and <br />free of any chemicals such as iron or copper which may cause a surface <br />disfigurement. <br /> <br />2.2 TUCKPOINTING MORTAR MATERIALS: <br /> <br />A. Approved Manufacturers: <br />1. Jahn Restoration Mortars by Cathedral Stone Products, Inc. <br />a. M110 Historic Pointing Mortars. <br />B. Water: Clean and potable. <br /> <br />2.5 SEALANT MATERIALS <br /> <br />A. Sealants: <br />1. Tremco DYMERIC - Three part epoxidized polyurethane <br />2. Tremco DYMONIC Polyurethane or approved equal. <br /> <br />B. Cleaners and Primers: <br />1. Furnish Tremco 200 cleaner for use with Tremco Sealants. <br />2. Furnish manufacturer's recommended primers for application to the <br />various substrates. <br /> <br />C. Backer Rods: <br />1. Backer Rod: Closed cell polyethene foam equal to "HBR" backer rod as <br />manufactured by Hercules, Inc., or approved equal. <br /> <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br /> <br />3.1 WORKMANSHIP <br /> <br />A.
