b.) Vic's Towing and Recovery agrees to cooperate with the investigating officer in removing unsafe and/or illegally parked vehicles from the street and in storing or impounding of such vehicles as requested; c.) Vic's Towing and Recovery will provide clean-up and remove all debris from the accident scene, including, but not limited to, clean-up and removal of all hazardous materials/vehicle fluids in the street with adsorbent material; d.) Vic's Towing and Recovery will not dispose of or otherwise relinquish control of any vehicle stored or impounded by city without a written approval from the city. The written approval is required for any vehicle stored or impounded by the city, and the tow truck operator signs a stored vehicle report from and receives a copy of the stored vehicle report. The city stored automobile release to that person upon verification of identity and payment fees; e.) Vic's Towing & Recovery agrees that when a party obtains a city stored vehicle release form and presents it, the vehicle shall only be released to that person upon verification of identity and payment of fees; f.) Vic's Towing & Recovery will advise the city in writing within five (5) business days if a person picking up a vehicle formally complains about any concerns of damage to vehicle, missing accessories, or missing personal property from the vehicle. g.) Vic's Towing and Recovery upon request will provide team members who have access to the storage yard and/ or the personal property that is taken out of any vehicle for storage/ safekeeping completed background checks and fingerprints. 2.)Equipment All units are compliant to USDOT laws/regulations. Vic's Towing & Recovery is proud to present that all our trucks listed (Please see attachment) Have one full light bar in addition to front and rear and side strobe lights. All trucks are equipped with equipment to motorcycles and trailers properly. Safety chains, straps, shovels, brooms, and fluid absorbent is included in every truck. All units pass state regulations, each truck clearly displays name, logo, phone number, USDOT, and MC number. d• All trucks pass annual safety inspections required by USDOT. In addition to equipment we provide our employees with clean, professional, OSHA/ANSI certified uniforms. These uniforms are always required to be worn to ensure our drivers professionalism and safety. Vic's Towing & Recovery's owners and team members agree to be available for inspection should The City of South Bend make this request; and subject to random inspections to ensure quality performance.
