In <br />order for the new owner to continue occupying <br />the space, the lease needs to be assigned to the <br />new owner. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by <br />Ms. Jones and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 1809 <br />approving the Assignment of the Commercial <br />Lease between the South Bend Redevelopment <br />Commission and Catering by Billie, Inc. <br />f. Staff report on acquisition of property <br />located in the South Bend Central <br />Development Area. (Coyne Property) <br />Mr. Giulioni explained that the property is <br />owned by Mary F. Coyne and located at the <br />intersection of Western Ave. and Wayne St. It <br />is a component of the properties being acquired <br />to enable the expansion of the Crowe Chizek <br />Office Campus. He stated that the Commission <br />made an original offer to Ms. Coyne in the <br />amount of $122,000 and that she has countered <br />with an offer of $150,000. Mr. Giulioni noted <br />that the staff recommends that the Commission <br />approve the proposed counter offer from Ms. <br />Coyne in the amount of $150,000. <br />Upon on a motion by Ms. Jones, seconded by <br />Mr. Caldwell and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the counter offer made <br />by Ms. Coyne in the amount of $150,000 for <br />property located in the South Bend Central <br />Development Area. <br />In <br />COMMISSION APPROVED RESOLUTION <br />NO. 1809 APPROVING THE ASSIGNMENT OF <br />THE COMMERCIAL LEASE BETWEEN THE <br />SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT <br />COMMISSION AND CATERING BY BILLIE, <br />INC. <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE PROPOSED <br />COUNTER OFFER MADE BY MS.
