South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Special Meeting - October 13, 2000 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />h. continued... <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Jones, seconded by <br />Mr. Faccenda and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the proposal from <br />Douglas L. Carpenter and Associates in the <br />amount of $1200. (Appraisal of Yellow Cab <br />Property, 710 N. Niles) <br />i. Staff presentation of the <br />Studebaker /Oliver Plow Works <br />Redevelopment Strategy. <br />Ms. Kolata explained that late last year the <br />Commission was given copies of <br />Development Concept's redevelopment <br />strategy for the Studebaker Corridor /Oliver <br />Plow Works area. The strategy calls for <br />clearance of the Oliver Plow Works site, <br />acquisition and clearance of the area south of <br />Sample Street and replatting of the area for <br />use as an industrial area. The strategy was <br />never formally adopted. The staff asked the <br />Commission to adopt the strategy so that it . <br />can be used to guide policy and proposal <br />decisions. <br />j. Commission approval requested for the <br />Studebaker /Oliver Plow Works <br />Redevelopment Strategy. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Jones, seconded by <br />Mr. Faccenda and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the Studebaker /Oliver <br />Plow Works Redevelopment Strategy. <br />Awl a <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE PROPOSAL <br />FROM DOUGLAS L.
