(Mary <br />Lou Crance) <br />m. Commission approval requested for <br />professional services in the Southeast <br />Development Area. (Appraisal for property at <br />533 S. Chapin St.) <br />Mr. Laurent noted that the Commission is <br />interested in acquiring the Oliver Plows Works <br />site. Before adding it to the acquisition list, it <br />must have two appraisals. Rick Pitts has already <br />performed one appraisal. <br />Mr. Laurent stated that the staff has received two <br />proposals for this appraisal, one from Jerome <br />Michaels, MAI and one from Bernard Diedrich <br />of the Appraisal Group. He noted that both <br />proposals are in the amount of $10,000. He <br />stated that the staff recommends approving the <br />proposal from Jerome Michaels, because of his <br />MAI credentials. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Faccenda, seconded by <br />Mr. Caldwell and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the proposal from Jerome <br />Michaels for professional services in the <br />Southeast Development Area.
