South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - May 5, 2000 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />g. Commission approval requested for <br />Loan and Grant in connection with <br />the Affordable Loan Program for <br />property at 2918 Sunnymede. (Sara <br />Gray) <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that the loan is in the <br />amount of $3,800 at 4% interest for 10 <br />years with monthly payments of $38.75. <br />The grant is in the amount of $2,391.40. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Jones, seconded <br />by Mr. Kahn and unanimously carried, <br />the Commission approved the Loan and <br />Grant in connection with the Affordable <br />Loan Program for property at 2918 <br />Sunnymede. (Sara Gray) <br />h. Commission approval requested for <br />proposal for services in the Airport <br />Economic Development Area. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that the two proposals <br />received were from HRP Construction in <br />the amount of $4,444.00 and LaFree <br />Earth, Inc. in the amount of $6,200.00. <br />They are for demolition of a building <br />located west of Blackthorn Court, north <br />of Nimtz Parkway and east of the U.S. <br />31 Bypass. <br />The staff recommends accepting the <br />proposal from HRP Construction. <br />-10- <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE LOAN AND GRANT <br />IN CONNECTION WITH THE AFFORDABLE LOAN <br />PROGRAM FOR PROPERTY AT 2918 SUNNYMEDE. <br />(SARA GRAY) <br />
