Mrs. Kolata stated that the <br />staff recommendation is to come to the next <br />Commission meeting with site and <br />landscaping plans and a proposed purchase <br />price. <br />Mrs. Kolata reported that the Blackthorn <br />Joint Committee met yesterday. <br />She also reported that the Western Avenue <br />Corridor had its first charrette with Ball State <br />students. Other charrettes are being planned <br />for the next few weeks. <br />Mrs. Kolata reported that the Portage Avenue <br />Corridor will have an open house on Sunday, <br />April 30, 2000. <br />She also reported that 80 evergreens were <br />being planted at Blackthorn Golf Course in <br />order to provide a buffer along the 13' hole. <br />Mrs. Kolata reported that Michele Bush will <br />resign on May 12, 2000, to take an executive <br />position at Girls Scouts of America. <br />She also reported that Vangelean Urbanski <br />will resign on May 31, 2000. <br />8. NEXT COMMISSION MEETING <br />The next Regular Meeting of the <br />Redevelopment Commission is scheduled for <br />May 5, 2000, at 10:00 a.m. <br />-15- <br />
