South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - April 7, 2000 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />e. continued.... <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Kahn, seconded <br />by Ms. Jones and unanimously carried, <br />the Commission approved the <br />acquisition of the property at 215 S. <br />Main Street in the South Bend Central <br />Development Area. <br />f. Commission approval requested for <br />proposal for professional services in <br />connection with property in the <br />Airport Economic Development Area. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that two proposals <br />were received from Wightman <br />Schaeffer, Inc. in the amount of <br />$7,100.00 and The Abonmarche Group <br />in the amount of $6,700.00 for survey <br />and subdivision services which need to <br />be conducted in connection with the <br />Major Primary Subdivision Expansion of <br />Blackthorn Corporate Office Park #2. <br />The staff recommends accepting the <br />proposal from The Abonmarche Group. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Jones, seconded <br />by Mr. Kahn and unanimously carried, <br />the Commission accepted the proposal <br />from The Abonmarche Group in the <br />amount of $6,700.00 for professional <br />services in connection with the property <br />in the Airport Economic Development <br />Area. <br />-11- <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE ACQUISITION OF <br />THE PROPERTY AT 215 S.
