NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />a. continued... <br />lot will provide 20 additional parking <br />spaces for the proposed development. <br />The total investment of the two <br />properties, which includes the Main and <br />Sample property, will be approximately <br />$1.4 million. The landscaping will be in <br />accordance with the Design Review <br />Guidelines for the area. <br />The timetable for paving and <br />landscaping the Lot will coincide with <br />the timetable of the Main and Sample <br />Streets development. The project will be <br />completed 120 days after construction <br />has started. There were no issues related <br />to this specific proposal. Kevin Butler, <br />attorney, represented the developer. The <br />staff recommends accepting the proposal <br />for the purchase of parcel 814 -818 <br />Lafayette. The staff will review the <br />revised site plan for the lot at Main and <br />Sample and give a report to the <br />Commission at its next meeting on <br />April 7. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Jones, seconded <br />by Mr. Kahn and unanimously carried, <br />the Commission accepted the proposal <br />from Richard L. Best for disposition of <br />property at 814 -818 S.
