NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />b. continued... <br />just trying to make sure that those <br />who are here understand that while <br />I'm all for the hospital expansion, as <br />a matter of fact, 1 had surgery done <br />over there approximately four or five <br />weeks ago and they did a marvelous <br />job, so 1 understand that, but at the <br />same time, the importance of the <br />public life today is to be right up <br />front with what is going on and make <br />certain that everybody that has a <br />concern understands what is going <br />on. " <br />Mr. Hunt asked if anyone else <br />wished to speak. There was no one <br />else who wished to speak at the <br />public hearing. Mr. Hunt closed the <br />public hearing for whatever action <br />the Commission wished to take. <br />b. Commission approval requested <br />for Resolution No. 1737 Expanding <br />the Boundaries of the South Bend <br />Central Development Area, <br />Establishing an Allocation Area <br />for the Purposes of Tax Increment <br />Financing and Amending the <br />South Bend Central Development <br />Area Development Plan. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Jones, <br />seconded by Mr. Kahn and <br />unanimously carried, the <br />Commission adopted Resolution No. <br />1737 Expanding the Boundaries of <br />-25- <br />
