(1) To <br />facilitate the timely and orderly <br />growth of health care related uses <br />located in Area L as shown on Map <br />17.4. (2) To encourage development <br />projects which complement <br />development activities in the Central <br />Business District. (3) To facilitate <br />necessary changes andlor <br />improvements to the <br />transportation/circulation system to <br />best meet the needs of the health care <br />related uses and the surrounding <br />community. (4) To facilitate <br />necessary changes andlor <br />improvements to the area's <br />infrastructure to best meet the needs <br />of the health care related uses and <br />the surrounding community. (S) To <br />facilitate private investment in the <br />transition area shown as Area P on <br />Map 17.4, between the Downtown <br />Medical Services District and the <br />Central Business District. (6) To <br />improve physical connection for <br />pedestrians and increase movement <br />of foot traffic between the Downtown <br />Medical Services District and the <br />Central Business District. (7) To <br />encourage pedestrian connections <br />between the health care related uses <br />and surrounding parks and <br />neighborhoods.
