NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />b. continued... <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Jones, seconded by <br />Mr. Donoho and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission authorized the Director to file <br />Resolution No. 1735, a Resolution of the <br />South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Appropriating Monies for the Purpose of <br />Defraying Expenses of Certain Local <br />Public Improvements for the Fiscal Year <br />Beginning January 1, 2000, and Ending <br />December 31, 2000, Including All <br />Outstanding Claims and Obligations, <br />Fixing A Time When the Same Shall Take <br />Effect and Setting a Public Hearing on <br />Resolution No. 1735 for 10:00 a.m., on <br />February 4, 2000. <br />c. Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 1736 approving a <br />Modification to the Lease for the Morris <br />Performing Arts Center Project and <br />approving the Execution of an <br />Addendum to the Lease. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that Resolution No. <br />1736 amends the description of the Morris <br />Performing Arts Center project, describing <br />the work which has been done. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Donoho, seconded <br />by Ms. Jones and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission adopted Resolution No. 1736 <br />approving a Modification to the Lease for <br />the Morris Performing Arts Center Project <br />and approving the Execution of an <br />Addendum to the Lease. <br />-7- <br />COMMISSION AUTHORIZED THE DIRECTOR TO <br />FILE RESOLUTION NO. 1735, A RESOLUTION OF THE <br />SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br />APPROPRIATING MONIES FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br />DEFRAYING EXPENSES OF CERTAIN LOCAL <br />PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR <br />BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 2000, AND ENDING <br />DECEMBER 31, 2000, INCLUDING ALL <br />OUTSTANDING CLAIMS AND OBLIGATIONS, <br />FIXING A TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL TAKE <br />EFFECT AND SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING ON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1735 FOR 10:00 A.M., ON <br />FEBRUARY 4, 2000 <br />COMMISSION ADOPTED RESOLUTION NO. 1736 <br />APPROVING A MODIFICATION TO THE LEASE FOR <br />THE MORRIS PERFORMING ARTS CENTER PROJECT <br />AND APPROVING THE EXECUTION OF AN <br />ADDENDUM TO THE LEASE <br />
