South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - December 17, 1999 <br />She stated that item 6.a. is related to the <br />proposed pricing for the Blackthorn Golf <br />Course for the year 2000, and item 6.b. <br />sets the Blackthorn Golf Course Budget <br />for the year 2000, which incorporates the <br />Blackthorn Golf Course Proposed Pricing <br />for the year 2000. <br />Mrs. Kolata also stated that there will be a <br />$1 increase on most of the Blackthorn <br />Golf Course fees for the year 2000 for <br />both residents and non - residents. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that the Blackthorn <br />Joint Committee recommended both the <br />pricing and budget for the year 2000 to the <br />Commission. <br />Scott Nissley, Meadowbrook Golf, stated <br />fir+' that the three percent rate increase ($1 <br />increase) is appropriate for local and <br />regional golf markets. He also mentioned <br />that there has not been a general price <br />increase for somethime. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Donoho, seconded COMMISSION APPROVED THE BLACKTHORN GOLF <br />by Mr. Faccenda and unanimously carried, COURSE PROPOSED PRICING FOR THE YEAR 2000 <br />the Commission approved the Blackthorn <br />Golf Course Proposed Pricing for the Year <br />2000. <br />b. Public Hearing on Resolution No. 1721. <br />Mrs. Kolata asked permission to enter the <br />following items into the record: Affidavits <br />from the Tri- County News and South <br />Bend Tribune that the Notice of Public <br />Hearing was published in those <br />newspapers on December 3, 1999. <br />-4- <br />
